RySem’s Restomod BuildMonday, January 5th, 2009 I have officially begun making progress on my restomod build. I am using a 71 CT70H frame as my basis (thank you to VWbusman for the frame!). It was nasty to start out. Had about 7 layers of various spray paint on it...sprayed right over the original decals. Was an original candy blue green bike. Anyways, you can see some before and after pics of the frame. I just bead blasted it today. I will be priming it with etching primer and then painting it with Daytona Yellow single stage urethane. I picked up a set of carbon-look K0 decals and side badges from boosted1 and they look pretty sweet. I will be adapting a YSR50 race front end to the the frame and will be using some sort of standard motorcycle or BMX type bars. For engine I will be using a TRX70 lower end as the base. It will be a 4spd automatic with 12V CDI and some sort of stroker and big bore setup. I have a trailbuddy thumper exhaust on the way courtesy of HymieP (thanks again Jamie!). That is my plan so far. For now here are the frame pics before and after sandblasting.

Official Honda Shop Manual,. ? Thanks, Mrdi New K0 Fork LegsSunday, January 4th, 2009 My father and I are in the business of making reproduction parts for AMC and Rambler cars. If you want, check out my website at AMXMGS Resto Parts - Parts for AMC AMX Javelin Gremlin Hornet Spirit Concord Rambler American Rebel Matador Eagle Pacer. As I was looking at my CT70 stuff I had a thought. I am thinking we will probably start making lower fork legs for CT70 K0 and Z50 applications out of mirror finish stainless steel. No rust and no pits to deal with at all. I have to do a little research as to what it will cost but will most likely be a kit with fork legs and new plastic bushings. I need to know if it would be worth my while designing and building all of the tooling and whatnot to make these, so I would like to hear some feedback as to who might be interested in a set. Like I said, I can't give a set price yet but I'm thinking they will be somewhere between $100-$200 for a complete setup. Here is a similar type product we make for the AMCs so you can see the type of quality. 68-74 AMX/Javelin Fender Support Rods - Stainless - $100.00 : AMXMGS Resto Parts, Parts for AMC Rambler AMX Javelin Gremlin Hornet SC/Rambler American Rebel Machine SC/360 Spirit Rogue Matador Eagle Matador Ambassador Marlin

Thanks, Dennis 1978 CT 70 #’s and valueSunday, January 4th, 2009 I was wondering if anyone would know about how many 78 CT 70's were produced or if there is a place to find out? Also, what is the approximate value of a 78 in very good, original condition. The bike has about 1,940 miles. I have tried finding the sale value on ebay with no luck. Thank You
Tailight issueSunday, January 4th, 2009 Ok, wasn't getting tailight to illuminate, checked wiring and ground and re-wired along with proper ground. Now, when applying the foot brake, the tailight goes out. I researched previous posts and couldn't find anything. I know this was discussed, what's the answer. Ground on tailight is fine, connections on tailight fine. Help!
