I have a 69 ct-70 that I want to fix up and sell because if I keep spending money on this thing my wife will leave me! I want it to at least look good when I sell it though, right now it has ugly yellow spray paint on it from when it got stolen when i was a kid. I recently got it up and running, and have fixed all of the plastic light cover and such my question is this should replace all of the cables and I have a buddy who will powder coat it for free should i take him up on it? Obviously I want to get the most I can out of the bike but I also dont want to give someone a piece of crap

I have a very early build 69 ct70 i am parting out. I have the frame, motor,2 piece horn, and short exhaust. The vin is ct70-105564 on the frame. The motor is a few digits off. Motor needs a top end rebuild. Exhaust is broke where the clamp goes. The frame has a clear michigan title. I can email pics to those interested. I am selling the Reggae tires I bought last month, due to my ct70 breaking down and me not wanting to fix it right now

they are 120/90/10, and have maybe 100km on them.
the rear tire was rubbing a bit, and has a small bite out of each of the center lugs. I would not consider it detrimental.
I can provide closeup pictures of the bites, if people like

This front end is in perfect condition. Has had recent oil change. 700 original miles on them. Painstakingly polished lowers and handlebar clamps. Top clamp and headlight bracket have been painted black. Nice upgrade from the old style CT forks although to mount these on an older model the steering stops would need modification. Comes complete as shown MINUS the fender. Asking $300 plus shipping or $325 with fender plus shipping.

Again, this motor was purpose built for an iron butt ride 650 miles around lake erie. Should be a great motor.

Running condition: Runs perfect. Starts on 1 kick and runs out nicely. Top speed about 65mph and cruises all day around 50. Motor has about 30 minutes run time and everything seems to have checked out. All lights, turn signals, etc work as they should.

I have a clear virginia title in my name. Everything on the bike works except the speedo, which is only because it didn't fit on the larger axle shaft. Also needs a stator cover because my honda one needed to be trimmed to fit.

I will throw in a set of honda zb50 tank stickers to the winner as well.

eBay Motors: Honda CT70 ct70h z50 CT70E engine restored nice look (item 200234957752 end time Jul-02-08 12:45:13 PDT)

I have a brand new Honda Trail Bikes based motor here that I just assembled and I am going to go for another china big block I think. Motor has not been started since assembled. Here is what you get.

New: 95cc Trail bikes Race Head, Race Cam, 54mm Piston, and cylinder
New: Head cover, cam cover, cam chain, cam roller, idler roller
New: Honda xr50 crankshaft. This was a takeoff with 0 hours.
New: Chinese style flywheel and stator with lighting coil
New: All gaskets
Head has the ports cleaned up, but not really opened.


Used: Bottom end is using slightly used Dratv cases and hv oil pump
Used: 4-speed all-up tranny and manual clutch from a skyteam st90 with 312 actual miles. Motor shifted fine. Basically the same exact thing as a trail bikes tranny.
Used: Mikuni VM26 (not the knockoff) carb, boot, and intake Very clean!
Used: Honda Trail Bikes Oil Cooler takeoff plate and lines (sorry no cooler)

No stator cover.

Motor is clean as a bean all around. Its very VERY nice! Needs nothing but mounting it up and jetting it.

$500 shipped or I'll knock off $80 without the carb, intake, boot

Looking to sell or trade for regular stator with 12v lighting. Brand new never run, comes with cdi. I need a stator with lighting coil, flywheel and cdi. I think they interchange between all these engines.
