Tailight issueSunday, January 4th, 2009 Ok, wasn't getting tailight to illuminate, checked wiring and ground and re-wired along with proper ground. Now, when applying the foot brake, the tailight goes out. I researched previous posts and couldn't find anything. I know this was discussed, what's the answer. Ground on tailight is fine, connections on tailight fine. Help!

Why Is It…Saturday, January 3rd, 2009 We can order both a 44 or 46 tooth rear "H" sprocket but not the original Honda 45 tooth? Or if we can does someone wanna share the source? Also if you are ordering one of the two, which is your favorite? And why?
costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Huntington BeachSaturday, January 3rd, 2009 Anyone have any knowledge or experience of an outstanding CT70
repair tech in the Costa Mesa, Huntington-Newport Beach area? Thanks, Mrdi Old GuySaturday, January 3rd, 2009 Just purchased an 72 CT70H from one of our members.
Will need to replace front tire and front shock seals.(to start) Can't find how to info on either in a search of tech section. Links to one or both and perhaps a link to an online parts and repair manual will be helpful Thanks Mrdi Speedo QuestionFriday, January 2nd, 2009 I finally got the HKO all fine turned so the wife and I went on a 5 mile buz around the neighborhood to break it in. Couple questions ??
1.The speedometer works great to about 35 mph but as the bikes speed goes beyond that the speedo needle stays at 35. Anyone know what to look for?? 2. The tranny shifts really smooth through the gears up and down through the gear pattern, but I stopped at a stop sign in 2nd gear and it was a b^&&*tch to get it into nuteral at a standing stop with the engine running. Is that normal?? Here's a pic of our rides 72 CT70HK1 Neutral switch questionThursday, January 1st, 2009 I can't seem to find much on this. I believe I am looking at the neutral switch. It's a small post with a spring just above the front chain sprocket and has a single wire going to it.
My question is- how does it work and can it be easily replaced? Mine looks like it has a broken piece of black plastic at the base of the shaft/spring. Also looks like a related broken piece of steel just below the switch and slightly left held on with one screw. Just a piece of bent metal. Thanks Anybody have a basket mounted on their minitrail?Thursday, January 1st, 2009 If so, I'd like to see some pics. Word on the street is that chicks dig baskets, plus it would come in handy for a six-pack run!
Happy New Year everyone! I don't post much, since I don't have much knowledge to share, but I have learned tons as I work on my own CT70. Thanks to everyone for sharing your knowledge, expertise and learning experiences.:77: |
