Memorabilia

Does anyone know where to find any good CT70, Z50, or just old honda adds, pictures or memorabilia in general. My plan is to decorate my theater/extra living room with my bikes once I finish a few more and would love some great pictures, old movie adds or honda adds. One movie add I would like to find is On Any Sunday.

Doess anyone have any old pictures of themselves as a kid riding thier CT70 or Z50's? I have my bothers and sisters all looking for several photo's of me and my bother on our bikes as kids, there is even one of my mom on his CT70 with her beehive hairdo. He had a Candy Gold 69 KO CT70 and I had a Ruby Red 69 K1 Z50. If you have some pic's post them I would to see them. Since nobody can seem to find the one's of me and my bother.

Thursday, May 13th, 2010
I know I may be asking a question in the wrong area but I need to know.

Has anyone had any problems with the ATVSHOP? I am curious to know if they are good to go? and do they have a good return policy? if anyone has had a great experience with them? or a bad experience?
thanks.
Bill

Vintagehondapaint.com contact info? / Still in business

I'm needing 2 paint kits in colors they do not list.

Light ruby red, and Aquarius blue. I have sent them a few e-mails but can't get a response. I don't want to break down and spend $350 a kit for the paint elsewhere.

Installing swing arm bushings on CT70KO

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009
I am getting ready to reassemble my bike after Powder Coating.I had a lot of fun getting the bushings out of the swing arm.I tourched, grinded, chiseled, sawed, ect. to get the old ones out.I did not have much left of the bushings when I was done.I have two NOS bushings to install.I am going to have my local honda dealer press them in for me.My question is whether or not there should be any kind of spacer between the bushings. There is a slight ridge inside that looks like the bushing should stop behind. It does not look like I have caused any damage to the swing arm except the ridge is very slight and I hope I did not wear it down in the removal process.I assume the Honda dealer will know how far to press it in.If any one has any experience or advise please let me know.:102:
Thank you,
Dave

1974 XL70 was this street legal?

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009
Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew if the 1974 xl70 was street legal back in the day? Is there a steet legal federal label or code on them or something? Does the CT70 have a federal label on it? I'm in the process of making mine street legal, but I got a letter back from the state saying I couldn't register it unless it has a federal label that states it is for road use. Somewhere around the seat I guess. mine doesn't have it, but neither do I think any of the CT70s and I have my 70 registered.

Thanks in advance!

Jimmy
