I have seen a couple of ct70"s with a rear rack (like for carrying a lunch box). Does anyone know where I can purchase one? Thanks for your help.

I recently restored a CT70, just your normal 3 speed. Its a 1970. I was wondering what the KO, K1, means. I know H means 4 speed. Any idea on how many H's were made to 3 speeds? Im sure its been covered, i couldnt find it.

Also, I just bought a nice solid H motor off ebay and was wondering:
Would it be worth my time to buy and H frame so that I have a 'real' H model, or just throw the motor in mine and be done with it? What would you do? H frames are fairly cheap, and it gives it a sence of being 'real' but these arnt COPO Camaro's, so I don't know what to do.

Also, when I am doing this motor swap, is there anything else I will need to do, or should do?

Ok, here is the seat pan. Wondering if it's too far gone to try and repair, and if not what is the best way to repair. All area's that will have to hold a load are good, it's just the thin walls that are rusted out. The cushion appears to be good. What do you guys think? Repair pan and re cover, or just buy a new one?

I ordered a simple gas cap from this company. After waiting over three weeks for it, I asked to have my money refunded. Its been over two weeks now and I still haven't got the money back. Ive sent many emails, and made many phone calls and I am not getting anywhere.

I don't mean to be rude about this but I just thought I would let you all know. Just so you don't end up being in this situation like I am.

Hey--probably a dumb question, but I am replacing the points and condenser on my ct70 (1970 model KO), and had to use my solder iron to get the old wires off.
I am getting ready to put on the new condenser, and a local mechanic said DON'T solder the wires on, cause it will ruin the condenser. Should I just crimp on the wires, or should I actually solder them.
Any suggestions?:39:

Pulled the motor out of a 72 4 speed. According to the serial number it came out of a 1970 CL70. Anyone a CL expert?

I have just started the restoration of my '71 K0..While I was preparing to clean the frame I notice there are only 3 spacers welded to the frame on the inside...spacers are between the frame and 2 engine mounting bolts...should their be a spacer for all 4 holes?..

Just picked up a CT70. 1970 model...Restored. I have a few Questions...The Horn does not work...the battery is dead, will the horn work when the bike is running with a bad battery?

Also, where is the best place to get an "Owners manual", Repair Manual, and a tool Kit. Thanks...

just reinstalled engine in 72CT70HK1 and cannot get the bike to idle down. It revs fine but the idle is way too fast, seems like about 2000RPM. Any one had similar problems or a fix?
